How Mr. Grab Bar Began
Mr. Grab Bar, Inc. was created in 1998 by Howard Cohen, a licensed Florida Physical Therapist. Howard worked primarily in home care settings with seniors, a population at high risk for falls. He witnessed how falls impacted individuals lives and knew that many devastating falls could be easily prevented with a few simple modifications in the home. Since then, Mr. Grab Bar's primary focus has been the provision of grab bars, empowering devices which provide a secure hand hold in the bath tub or shower and offer enhanced stability while standing or sitting.
Focus on Fall Prevention
A bathroom fall can happen to anyone at any age. Mr. Grab Bar, Inc. is dedicated to making communities aware of the need for fall prevention. In 10 years, Mr. Grab Bar, Inc. has installed over 30,000 grab bars in the Southwest Florida communities of Naples, Marco Island, Bonita Springs, Estero, and Fort Myers and is now beginning to expand its service nationally through a growing Grab Bar Installation Network.

Because our warehouse receives frequent shipments, we accept visitors to our warehouse by appointment only.
